Hello Jayson/Jason,

I am glad to hear that Michelle has made it through the surgery. I am continuing to pray for her recovery and strength, as well as peace and strength for both of your families. I have asked others to pray as well and I will check your website and blog frequently to keep up-to-date.

God bless you,
Grace

Hi Guys! I was just thinking of you and thought I would pop in and say, Hi!

Michelle,

Do you know how many times I have watched Beaches or Dirty Dancing this year? Way too many times!! But I watch them because they always bring back the wonderful memories I have of us being goofy teens. Though, some of those memories are painful, as we both went through some tough times, they still bring me great joy. Living through our hardships together was what helped me get through those years. If I didn't have you......I don't know where I would be now. I thank God for you. Even if we can't devise some way of seeing each other here on this earth (I'm still trying to hatch that plan!), I am grateful that we will see each other in Heaven. I love you so much, Michelle!! Stay strong, resist the devil, and enjoy God's blessings!

Your Fibro-Friend in Christ,
Kristina

I've been bad about updating. Life's been busy and insane. The surgery went well, and Michelle was released from Stanford. I worked from home for a week, so I could be home to help her when necessary. Then, for the holidays, we went to Southern California to visit family and friends. Michelle had been feeling sick after eating since she got out of the hospital. Unfortunately, it only got worse over time, so that I had to bring her back to the hospital on Saturday. This time it was Salinas Memorial Hospital, which is closer to home. She's still in there now, as they are running tests trying to find out what's wrong. They think it is relating to the scar tissue in her stomach from her whipple surgery two years ago. Hopefully they will have an answer today, and she'll be able to come home. Something we've been saying every day since we went to the ER.

Hey Jason! This is so strange! I have the exact same problem. Only it wasn't my neurologist that suggested the herniated disc may be the cause of my pain, it was my chiropractor. My neurologist said it wasn't bad enough to do surgery, yet. My chiropractor said the vertebrae was pressing on the spine. Right now there is nothing I can do, because my husband just started a new job and we have to wait for insurance to kick in. So, I just pray, stretch, and suffer with no meds. :)

I hope Michelle is doing better. I love you guys, and I'll pray for you.

Hey Guys!!

Perhaps we should set aside a week of prayer and fasting just for the members of the ACLU. LOL! It truly is nauseating what they've done with our Bill of Rights. I've read it several times, and can't, for the life of me, comprehend how they can twist into whatever will forward their own cause.

Anyway....Jason, I've lost your phone number. Could you please have Michelle call me. It was suprising, yet somehow comforting to find she has Fibromyalgia, too. Knowing that my best friend is going through what I'm going through is comforting, because she knows me so well and can truly understand how I feel. Although, it is something else to add to my long prayer list. But I don't mind! It's a joy to have you guys in my life.

I'll stop taking up all your comment space now.

Bye!
